Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-2 years of experience to join our finance team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
? Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
? Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and generate accurate financial reports.
Audit and Assurance:
? Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
? Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
Taxation:
? Manage and oversee all tax-related activities, including preparation, filing, and compliance with tax laws.
? Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
? Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring
compliance.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
? Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
? Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Account Reconciliation:
? Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
? Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Financial Analysis:
? Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
? Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.
Compliance:
? Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, TDS, and other applicable laws.
? Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Data Management:
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases.
? Conduct periodic reviews of financial processes and suggest improvements.
Training and Development:
? Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
? Assist in training and mentoring junior accounting staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or large-scale business environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• CRM Software: Hands-on experience with CRM software, particularly CRM, is highly desirable.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and data management.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
