Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Junior Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CA with 3 -5 years of experience to gain valuable exposure to the financial operations of a non-profit educational organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for non-profit organizations.
• Assist with the development and execution of the annual budget, including forecasting, tracking variances, and preparing monthly reports.
• Perform account reconciliations, analyze financial data, and prepare various accounting schedules.
• Support the senior finance team with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using accounting software.
• Complete other financial tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation with3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
