Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. Monitoring and analysing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to direct and supervise. They oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, including corporate income tax. Conduct financial analysis, monitor key financial metrics, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, tax filings, and other financial transactions, while adhering to ESI, EPF, and Labour laws. Co-ordinate with external auditors for statutory audit. Accounting managers work closely with tax consultants or advisors to optimize tax strategies, minimize tax liabilities, and ensure timely compliance. Liaise with clients to provide the best solutions as a chartered accountant Conduct audits, maintain financial management and deal with taxation File income tax returns, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports Provide sound financial advice to clients, keeping in mind the financial regulatory laws Ensure proper tax planning, and ethical accounting practices as a certified chartered accountant Guide and monitor junior accountants and colleagues to achieve the best accounting practices Accounting managers closely monitor cash flow and financial performance to ensure the financial health of the organization. They analyze cash inflows and outflows, track and manage working capital, and make recommendations for improving cash flow management. Accounting managers assess financial performance metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making. They also analyze financial data to evaluate profitability, liquidity, and overall financial stability. Trade Financing, Banking with better management of Limits (Fund base and Non-Fund base), Tracking and Negotiations of Bank Charges & Interest. LC/BG/FD/Term Loan, Forex, Investment Planning, Trading for utilisation of excess funds.
