Chapter Leader - Python, AWS & Rest API - Asset Management

The Purpose of Your Role


As a "Chapter Leader" in Architecture Technology Foundation you will play a critical role to aid/enable Asset Management business applications with the best developer experience by providing proven and ready-to-use technical solutions thus increasing stability, time to market and de-duplication of IT Functions.


You bring to this role outstanding leadership and collaboration skills, strong coaching skills, and the clear ability to leverage your expertise in partnering with other leaders to inform how the work is accomplished. You will lead a team of chapter members and be responsible for the continuous development of their expertise and support their career development. You will work in partnership with chapter area leaders, chapter leaders, in the Technology Foundations domain to establish the standards, guardrails, best practices, and strategic direction of your chapter and for enabling Squads and teams to deliver business results and customer value as measured by your specific KPIs. You will partner with product area, squad, and team leaders to define the business strategy and work and align the right talent to drive the desired business results and customer outcomes.

Technical/Behavioral

• Strong hands-on experience in Managing Engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of Engineering Practices like Code Review, Branching Patterns, etc.
• Global Stakeholder management and Strong Communication skills.
• Passionate to mentor, coach and develop associates for the future.
• Ability to deal with highly ambiguous situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion and intellectually curious to learn new technologies and business areas.
• Strategies to drive Influence without authority as needed.
• Strong:
+ App Development using Java and Python related technologies.
+ Solutioning experience in AWS Cloud. Firsthand knowledge of building and running resilient applications is required.
+ Experience working in a DevOps and CI/CD environment.
+ Knowledge Delivery Pipelines
+ Experience with relational database development is a plus (Oracle preferred)
