General Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Engineering Emech, Chapter LeaderMISSIONThe responsibility of this role will be to lead an Engineering team working on LV Switchboard and Busway products. Enable the team to reach their goals, ensure right setup from management and coach them to be efficient in their roles and responsibilities. Build and maintain right competency within the team to support to LV Busways and Equipment business across multiple geographies for Schneider Electric.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\xc2\xb7 Managing the Engineering team:o Help building a strong & sustainable team with right people & talent following the priorities of Power Products, International Hub, Schneider Electric.o Be a coach/mentor to all the designers, leads and product experts in team helping to nurture their career and opportunities to strengthen their future.o Be a frontend from team to top management in helping them shaping the organization better, budget for the year and roadmap for the team.o Influence and manage cross functional stakeholders within Schneider Electric benefitting the team and business priorities. (Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, Industrial, Labs\xe2\x80\xa6. etc)\xc2\xb7 Technical leader (Engineering):o Lead the team by helping them to effectively manage the maintenance & development activities (Project & Product Management) with suitable training & prospects for teams.o Make sure SE process of OLM (PEP/PMP), XFMEA, APQP, Design for Safety & Reliability are implemented and followed by teams.o Take ownership and accountability of the deliverables and commitments of team in project executions and technical solutions (Product design) of team.o Develop and lead new incubation activities for Innovation, Sustainability and Business growth with the team for short term and long term vision.\xc2\xb7 Country and Customer interface:o Provide technical support to country offer managers and team in customer projects to ensure business continuity and win projects.o Support to quality from technical side to resolve customer issues or product quality issues.Requirements/Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Strong People management skills developing competency and talent management, nice to have international exposure in managing global teams across geographies.\xc2\xb7 Good Experience in Product & Project Management, aware of PEP/PMP/Agile to train and deploy.\xc2\xb7 Portfolio management, able to build, define future roadmap and execution.\xc2\xb7 Understanding on the functions like Quality, Industrial and Schneider Global Supply Chain.\xc2\xb7 Strong in communication & interpersonal skills, ready to work in a dynamic environment.\xc2\xb7 Adequate technical knowhow of LV Switchboard and busway products\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge of the Voice of Customer, Persona definition, Customer Journey Mapping methodsEducation:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in technology and master\xe2\x80\x99s in management (nice to have).\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of R&D Management, Supply Chain & Business knowhow.QualificationsMasters in Engineering ( Mechanical/ Electrical )
