Job Overview
ROLE SUMMARY The Change Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating all changes within our organization, ensuring that they are implemented smoothly and efficiently. This role will involve working closely with Business Managers (BMs), creating technical requests, and scheduling change activities to minimize disruption to operations. The Change Coordinator will be required to work the PDT shift to support our operational needs. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities: 1. Change Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for all change-related activities within the organization.
Coordinate and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review and approve proposed changes.
Ensure that all changes adhere to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
2. Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborate with Business Managers (BMs) and other stakeholders to understand their change requirements and priorities.
Communicate change schedules, timelines, and impacts to relevant teams and stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication between various teams involved in change implementation.
3. Technical Requests:
Create and manage technical requests for implementing changes, including but not limited to infrastructure modifications, software updates, and configuration changes.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure that requested changes are properly documented, evaluated, and implemented.
4. Calendar Management:
Create and maintain change calendars to schedule and track change activities, maintenance windows, and outage periods.
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify suitable dates and times for implementing changes while minimizing disruption to business operations.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all changes, including change requests, approvals, implementation details, and post-implementation reviews.
Generate reports and metrics to track change management performance, identify trends, and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
5+ years experience in Change Management or related roles, preferably in a technology or operational environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
Familiarity with change management processes, methodologies, and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Availability to work the PDT shift to support operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Change Management (e.g., ITIL).
Experience working with calendar management tools and software applications.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies.
