Position Overview
The CEO - Government Museum will oversee the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of museum management within Arteva Group. This role involves leading the museum team to develop innovative programs, enhance visitor experiences, ensure financial sustainability, and uphold the museum's cultural and educational mission. The CEO will report directly to the Managing Director and work collaboratively with various Arteva Group verticals.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and execute long-term strategies for the museum's growth, aligning with Arteva Group's overarching vision.
• Oversee the conceptualization, design, and execution of new museum projects and exhibits, ensuring alignment with cultural and educational objectives.
• Foster partnerships with government agencies, cultural institutions, and educational organizations for mutual benefits.
Operational Excellence:
• Direct day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments, including exhibit planning, visitor services, and maintenance.
• Lead the recruitment and management of a multidisciplinary team, including curators, researchers, educators, and administrative staff.
• Establish and maintain high standards for visitor engagement and satisfaction.
Financial Management:
• Manage the museum's budget and resources effectively, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
• Identify and secure funding opportunities through grants, sponsorships, and collaborations.
• Oversee revenue-generating initiatives such as events, retail operations, and membership programs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Represent Arteva Group and the museum at public and professional forums, enhancing the institution's profile and reputation.
• Collaborate with government bodies to secure approvals, funding, and support for projects.
• Drive community engagement through innovative outreach programs, workshops, and educational initiatives.
Compliance and Governance:
• Ensure all museum operations comply with regulatory, ethical, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits, approvals, and project reviews.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
• Master's degree in Museum Studies, Art History, Cultural Management, Business Administration , or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
Experience:
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in museum management, cultural institutions, or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with government projects, policies, and frameworks is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong strategic planning and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking and networking.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, fundraising, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English (both spoken and written).
