Founded in 1999, Magic Bus works with children and young people living in poverty, in India, taking them from a childhood full of challenges to a life with meaningful livelihoods. We equip children and young people in the age group of 12 to 18, with the skills and knowledge they need to grow up and move out of poverty. Children on the Magic Bus program successfully fend off destabilizers such as child marriage and child labor to complete school and become first generation salary earners having secure careers in the organized sector.
Our youth-centered Livelihoods Program connects the aspirations and potential of young people to available market opportunities. We build their employability skills and map job potential based on individual strengths and mobility. We work with support structures like parents, teachers, the community at large and local government institutions to ensure social, emotional and economic well- being for all young people living in that area. Our approach mobilizes the entire ecosystem available to the child or young person to create transformational change in their lives.

Specific Responsibilities:
We have urgent opening for Center coordinator for Magic Bus India Foundation.
The Centre coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the program under the guidance of the Program Manager, documentation of program activities and timely preparation of reports .
The Centre coordinator will work in close collaboration with the program team and Sub-center.
Develop and facilitate implementation of the weekly and monthly work plans for the team:
Support all staff to develop their weekly/monthly plan based on program priorities and monthly targets.
Area allocation to Each team member and ensure all the places given to the Team are covered effectively.
Ensure that the team does quality-based work.
Undertake random field visits to sub-centers to observe programme activities in the field and to provide support.
Undertake regular monitoring of program activities.
Ensure timely data entry in MIS & MPR.
Generate monthly and quarterly reports as per protocol.
Lead/facilitate all advocacy efforts at the district level, including conducting meetings and Deliver a structured induction programme to each group of youth starting on the Livelihoods programme.
• Conduct training- Induction, Life skills, core and workplace readiness skills
• Lead all training in the district for the Magic Bus Livelihoods programme, which delivers skill training to youth and supports them into jobs and further education placements.
• Innovation in designing implementation/formats
• Deliver training content developed by Magic Bus national Programme Development Team and tailor this where necessary to the local context whilst ensuring session outcomes are delivered.
• Ensure training outcomes are achieved in each session and youth receive consistent messages throughout all training interventions.
• Design an effective Livelihoods Centre training timetable with the Centre Manager Livelihoods and ensure that this is constantly monitored and updated to enable youth to access the training they need.
• Prepare and follow training timetable
• Finalization of PDP
• Build trust with youth , take feedback on further development areas and skilling
• Feedback on curriculum and training modules
• Apply and continuously develop innovative training techniques to make training more effective, fun and interactive.
• Engage and motivate youth positively at all times ensuring youth are aware of their weekly timetables and attend the correct sessions.
• Deliver a sharp focus on all training contributing to youth's ability to take up work, training or further education and being able to sustain these for 6 months.
• Contribute to mapping institutions (government / NGO/ private and corporate foundations) that provide skills training opportunities in the local areas.
• Identify and respond to risks that could lead to youth dropping out of the programme.
• Build strong and trusted relationships with youth from the start of their engagement with Magic
Bus.
• Work with colleagues at district and regional level to continuously improve the quality of Magic
Bus Livelihoods programme and ensure our work is always safe and enjoyable for youth.
• Undertake data collection and reporting duties that demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of training.
• Act as a role model at all times demonstrating behaviour that displays the characteristics youth should develop to be successful in their chosen field.
Desired profile
• Graduates/Post graduates preferably in BSW/MSW, Psychology with 2+ years of experience in training and/or counseling.
• High-energy levels with a passion to succeed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Having impeccable integrity and high personal ethics
