Diploma or degree in hotel management
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen
Specialization in North Indian/Tandoor cuisine; knowledge of South Indian and Chinese cuisine is an added bonus
More than 3 years of experience in the culinary field
Culinary school diploma or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus
Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely manner, meeting our quality standards
Substitute for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
Manage and train kitchen staff, establish work schedules, and assess staff performance
