Job Description

We are looking for Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in European Cuisine for our Cafe, Cafe Karmaa Diaries, based in Siliguri. CDP will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of a designated section within the kitchen. The CDP will contribute to the culinary operations of the restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation and development of European-inspired dishes.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with restaurant standards.
• Oversee the daily operation of the assigned section.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene and food safety within the section.
• Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to achieve culinary goals.
• Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
• Assist in the ordering and management of stock for the section.
• Monitor portion and waste control.
• Ensure that all dishes leaving the section are of high quality and meet the restaurant's standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably specializing in European cuisine.
• Should have Desert knowledge also
• Strong knowledge of European cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Formal culinary training or certification from a recognized culinary institution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: From ?22,000.00 per month
