Position: Chef de Partie (CDP) Location: Beach Street Eco Resort and Spa, Goa Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Oversee and participate in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Station Management: Manage specific kitchen stations (e.g., grill, pastry, sauces), ensuring efficient workflow and cleanliness. Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative menu items, incorporating local and seasonal ingredients. Quality Control: Maintain food quality standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Inventory Management: Assist in ordering and managing inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring freshness of ingredients. Customer Interaction: Engage with guests when necessary to enhance their dining experience and receive feedback. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role in a fine dining or luxury resort setting. Culinary Skills: Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Creativity: Ability to contribute to menu planning and execute dishes with flair and presentation. Communication: Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within the kitchen team. Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Qualifications: Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge of local Goan cuisine is an advantage.
