AWS Data Engineer - CDK Developer







Experience:


Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on AWS services and infrastructure automation.


Hands-on experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.


Experience in building and managing data infrastructure using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, RDS, and Athena.


Proficiency in programming languages like Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript, particularly for CDK development.


Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.


Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.







Skills:


Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.


Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


Strong communication and collaboration abilities.


Experience with data security and compliance practices on AWS.


Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.







Preferred Qualifications:


AWS Certified Solutions DevOps Engineer.


Experience with serverless architecture using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.


Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools like QuickSight.


Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and AI concepts on AWS. About Virtusa
