  • Conduct detailed analysis of sophisticated data sets to develop long-term strategic data models aligned with business objectives.
  • Build robust, high-integrity data models to ensure the highest standards of data quality.
  • Implement data modelling and management principles consistently across all projects.
  • Design efficient data models to minimize duplication and optimize data flow, improving enterprise information management.
  • Collaborate with complementary teams to perform extensive data analysis, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of data implications.
  • Assess current data systems to identify areas for improvement or enhancement.
  • Partner with Data Architects and Data Analysts to ensure cohesive data strategies.
  • Engage with partners to understand both present and future data requirements, facilitating effective data modelling.
  • Develop and maintain detailed data dictionaries and flow diagrams to provide clear data structure insights.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in data modelling and management to maintain an edge.
  • Strategically use data modelling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio to construct and manage data models.
  • Apply expert knowledge of data modelling principles and data management concepts to all data-related initiatives.
  • Apply SQL proficiency and experience with database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Netezza to lead data effectively.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to address sophisticated data challenges.
  • Bring at least 5 years of experience in Data Consulting to the table, demonstrating a deep understanding of the field.
  • Showcase a history of delivering significant, data-centric solutions that drive business success.
  • Adapt to the multifaceted and fast-paced work environment of Bangalore, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Coordinate with ETL developers to ensure seamless data integration in line with established data models.
  • Maintain meticulous records of data models, including comprehensive data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
  • Communicate intricate data concepts in a clear and accessible manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Candidate Profile / Key skills
  • Demonstrated ability in data modelling (Four Years of Experience minimum).
  • Proven Proficiency in ER and dimension modelling
  • Familiarity with tools like Erwin or Coalesce
  • Strong conceptual and logical thinking skills.
  • Extensive experience with data platform and end-to-end processing of data from ingestion through to reporting and analytics and strong SQL skills
  • Experience in regulatory, risk, or financial transformation would be an advantage
