: CCTV Technician

Position Overview:

A CCTV Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems to ensure their effective operation. This role involves working closely with clients to provide security solutions and maintaining system integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation:

Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and other related equipment at client premises.

Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement.

Ensure proper cabling and connectivity for all systems.

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality.

Diagnose and repair faults or issues in CCTV equipment.

Replace or upgrade outdated components as necessary.

3. System Configuration:

Configure cameras, networks, and recording systems to meet client needs.

Integrate CCTV systems with other security solutions, such as alarms or access control systems.

4. Client Support:

Provide technical support and training to clients on system usage.

Document system configurations and service activities.

Respond promptly to client queries and service requests.

5. Compliance:

Adhere to safety standards and local regulations during installations.

Ensure the confidentiality and security of client data.

Qualifications:

Education:

B.Tech in Electronics, B.Sc in Electronics, Diploma in Electronics (Polytechnic)
