Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Technician with expertise in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV and intercom systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of security systems, as well as conducting routine inspections, installations, and repairs for clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Installation :
• Install CCTV cameras, intercom systems, and related electrical components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Plan and execute cable routing, wiring, and proper placement of equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Configure and set up security system software, ensuring proper functionality and remote access where applicable.
• Maintenance and Repairs :
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV and intercom systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including system malfunctions, poor image quality, or connectivity issues.
• Replace faulty components, such as cameras, microphones, cables, or control panels, as necessary.
• Provide on-site repairs and offer solutions to prevent recurring system issues.
• Testing and Inspections :
• Test installed systems for performance, including signal strength, camera alignment, and clarity of intercom communication.
• Conduct safety and compliance inspections of electrical systems in CCTV and intercom setups.
• Customer Support :
• Offer training to clients on system usage, including how to operate CCTV cameras, intercoms, and associated software.
• Provide ongoing customer support and technical advice for system upgrades or troubleshooting.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Provide detailed reports of all service calls, including diagnosis, repairs, and recommendations for improvements.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with other team members or contractors involved in the project for timely and effective completion.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines for electrical work and system installations.

Qualifications :

• Experience :
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as an electrical technician, with specific experience in CCTV and intercom system installations and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Hands-on experience with common CCTV camera models and intercom system brands.
• Skills :
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for electrical and system malfunctions.
• Knowledge of network configuration for IP-based CCTV systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with power tools, electrical testing equipment, and hand tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
