Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CCTV systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems according to client specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and network connectivity.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components or equipment as needed to restore functionality.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients via phone, email, or on-site visits.
• Keep accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to coordinate installations and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest CCTV technologies, products, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations and solutions to clients.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site and handling equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience (1-3 years) in installing, maintaining, and servicing CCTV systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of CCTV components, including cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and networking protocols.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues with CCTV systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in CCTV installation and maintenance is a plus.
