Job Description
Our client a very large commercial agricultural farm in Angola ( West Africa) involved in commercial agriculture is looking for experienced General Technician. As a General/Mechatronics Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of Caterpillar machinery and equipment. - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in Caterpillar equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of machinery
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic test results
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborate with team members and provide technical support when needed
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or related role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience working with Caterpillar equipment is highly preferred
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Candidates should be aware that the position is subject to an approximate 25% income tax deduction.
