Job Description
Our client a very large commercial agricultural farm in Angola ( West Africa) involved in commercial agriculture is looking for experienced General/Hydraulics Technicians with specific experience working on Caterpillar equipment. As a General/Hydraulics Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining Caterpillar equipment, including hydraulic systems and components. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and expertise in working with Caterpillar machinery.Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar equipment
- Detect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components
- Perform hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs
- Test and calibrate equipment for optimal performance
- Conduct thorough inspections of machinery
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General/Hydraulics Technician, preferably working on Caterpillar equipment
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems
- Strong knowledge of Caterpillar machinery and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidates should be aware that the position is subject to an approximate 25% income tax deduction.
