• Manage the Supplier life cycle including supplier selection, assessment, development, and supplier consolidation Floating of enquiries in market.
• Get the Best possible quote from Vendors. Comparison of quotes. Negotiations on Price, Payment terms, delivery date etc.
• Coordinate with cross functional leads from project management, Development team, Manufacturing etc.
• Preparation of MIS on daily basis about PR to PO conversion along with delivery updates.
• Alternate vendor development for all raw materials.
• Follow the SOPs to complete the task.
• Must follow all the cGMP practices.
• Performa vendor evaluation/vendor performance
• Should have knowledge of API, excipient & packing material development & sourcing.
• Should have knowledge of regulated market sourcing.

Specific requirements for this role:

• Must have knowledge of SAP
• Must have Knowledge of cGMP practices.
• Must have knowledge of Vendor development process & approval criteria in Formulations( drug product) manufacturing.
• Should have good knowledge of Pharma industry specific to formulation and related vendors.

Education and Experience

• BSc, MSc, B Pharma, M Pharma, B-tech (chemical) + MBA( international business, Operations) would be added advantage.
• 10-13 year of experience

Professional Skills and Capabilities

• Must be from pharmaceutical/chemical industry
• Must be from Sourcing/ procurement background of Formulation( Drug product) manufacturing.
• Must have knowledge of regulated market sourcing.
• Should be well verse in Business communication and fluent.
