Roles and Responsibilities


  • Individual contribution role in the Outgrow Digital Division of the WayCool based at Bangalore.
  • Work with the pesticide companies and bring them on Outgrow platform to sell their agro-chemical products to WayCool Outgrow Network Partner Franchisees (ONPs) for building inclusive sales and delivery mechanism to farmers.
  • Key metric of performance will be to onboard number of pesticide companies on the Outgrow plat form through MoUs, pilot trials, sign up agreements, negotiate commercial terms, good profit margins and kick start buy-sell relationships between pesticide companies and Outgrow for long term.
  • Manage relationships with all the relevant pesticide companies to build, nurture and grow the engagement between the Outgrow and pesticide companies.
  • Responsible to resolve challenges and creating enabling conditions to implement work in the field, including the coordination of sales teams to make sure the pesticide products are supplied on time to the designated franchisee partner locations across various districts in Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
  • Scoping and identifying new partnerships and potential additions to the pesticide companies list from time to time who are ready to partner with OUTGROW for profitable-long term relationships.
  • Coordinate with field sales staff and be responsible for any after sales, stock returns, farmer complaints and post-sale service issues.
  • Ensure that product knowledge and knowhow is imparted to the sales team to improve business revenues and profitability for pesticide category.
  • Responsible for communication & data flow continuously on the recent trends between key stakeholders like farmers, franchisees (ONPs), pesticide companies and the OUTGROW team.
  • Responsible for producing periodic operational and project performance reports against the annual workplans, including progress made, explain significant variances against expected results, detail necessary adjustments needed.
  • Responsible conduct trial pilots with select the farmers for all the existing new pesticide products from various agro-chem companies.
  • Establishes and maintains optimal performance standards within budget, achieve profitability targets and ensure sustainable business revenues with compete focus on compliance and sustainability objectives.
  • Understand aspirations/expectations from farmers regarding various pesticides to enable and deliver appropriate quantities-varieties-types of pesticides in time.
  • Frequent travel to different locations to initiate, establish & monitor various relationships across India.
Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors and or masters degree in Agricultural Sciences and 5 to 8 years experience in pesticide industry or related fields where you handled B2B relationships with pesticide companies at the decision maker level.
  • MBA qualification will be desirable, though not necessary. Early joiners would be preferred.
  • Execute the operational process with domain experience, including motivating, leading, setting objectives and managing the category performance in coordination with sales team.
  • Experience in partnership development with pesticide companies, pesticide associations & opinion leaders.
  • Experience in negotiating prices, special discounts, stocks, supplies, new product introductions and manage relationships.
  • Knowledge of regional languages (Tamil, Telegu, Marathi & Kannada) will an added advantage
