The Category Manager - Decor will lead market research and manage product categories, focusing on material offerings, pricing, and innovative design solutions. This role requires a strategic and analytical individual with a strong design sensibility.Key Responsibilities :- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, materials, and pricing.- Develop and execute category and design strategies.- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for materials and pricing information.- Maintain strong vendor relationships throughout the process.- Present creative design concepts and detailed proposals.- Stay updated on the latest wedding decor trends and innovations.- Support cross-functional teams and assist in maintaining the business catalogue.Requirements :- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Textile Design, Event Design, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.- Proven experience of 4-5 years as a Category Manager - Decor, Interior Designing or similar role, preferably within the wedding/event industry.- Strong analytical skills and design sensibility.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.- Proficiency in design software and tools is a plus.- Negotiation skillsFlexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
