The Chief Procurement Officer is reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, member of the sanofi executive committee. The Procurement organization is divided into five Domains (Manufacturing & Supply, Marketing & Sales, Professional Services, Scientific & Medical and Digital) leveraging Global Procurement Operations and the Procurement Center of Excellence & Transformation. The yearly spend coverage is around 15B\xe2\x82\xac with a special focus on Procurement excellence, Supplier Diversity and Sustainability. Closely collaborating with Finance, Business Operations and Business Units, Procurement is instrumental in achieving cost efficiency and savings. Procurement plays a critical role in optimizing Business Operational Impact with a focus on driving simplification, efficiency, and productivity. It forges strategic partnerships with suppliers, prioritizing innovation and data driven solutions.As Regional Category Buyer Total Talent Management (TTM) Services for International & Asia regions you will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing for the category of spend & geographic scope assigned, and across all business units.This includes activities such as, but not limited to, partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assist with building project scopes, consolidate all business needs and specification, conduct Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiate contracts renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and manage overall relationships with key suppliers.He/she will be the procurement expert preferably in Asia region for TTM services (meaning External Workforce Services) while managing all additional procurement categories of the professional services domain when required:Real Estate and Workplace Services (Real Estate, Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Security Services, Working Garments, Personal Protective Equipment, Office Supplies, Translation),External Workforce (temporary workers, Managed services, recruitment services),Human Resource Services (Rewards & Performance, Car fleet, Learning & Development, Business Process Outsourcing)Corporate Services (Travel, Consulting, insurance, Legal & Financial services)The overall spend under his/her supervision is about +25M\xe2\x82\xac spend/year.This position part of Professional Services (PS) domain, will report to the PS Regional Category Manager for International & Asia RegionsResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementSupports the Global Lead Buyer or the Regional Category Manager of the category to ensure the strategy's execution.Delivers savings pipeline in line with targetsData crunching: Collect, clean, organize and analyze large volumes of raw data. Leveraging advanced Excel formulas and functions (V/Xlook up, index Match, concatenate, SUMIF, IFAND etc.). Stripping out unwanted information and formatting, translating data into the required format and structuring it for analysis (pareto, charts etc.) or processing by other applications. Once these steps are completed, apply analysis tools to the data to glean business insights.Leads RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for his/her categoryContributes to and/or leads local projects according to Category ManagementReports on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities he/she is in charge of.Stays informed on current industry trends and new market developments related to his/her category areaUndertakes benchmarking against other industries and best practicesRun SRM program with suppliers of his/her scopeSupport pre/post-audit management, Crisis managementMaintains comprehensive understanding of Procurement Policies/Processes related to Risk/CSR/Compliance, and ensures that these are adhered to by relevant team membersIdentifies non-compliant processes and defines appropriate corrective measures Audit managementStakeholder ManagementDevelops strong partnerships with his/her key internal customers, and foster two-way supportive relationships with themPresents Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and inputAbout youExperience3 to 5+ years\' experience in Procurement or related fieldSoft Skills/ Technical skills:The position requires sourcing professional skills with a strong ability to develop relationships within and across the different lines of business and throughout the Procurement organization, including transversal / project management skills as well as management skills in a multi-cultural environment:Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processesConsistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and resultsDemonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordinglyAnalytic advanced skills for data crunching purpose (Excel, Power BI, Thinkcell etc ).Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent priorities/projectsDefines and balances strategic priorities against immediate operational challengesAble to quickly assimilate new information/skillsReadily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working, etc.Willingness and ability to challenge the status quoCreativity in imagining new processes, innovative ideas, and solutionsPossesses strong competency in partnering with various stakeholders to deliver successful outcomesEncourages collaboration within team and across other functions/groupsStrong planning, problem-solving and responsive decision-making skillsStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Role model in compliance and ethicsActively seeks feedback to identify opportunities for improvementEducationMinimum Bachelors degree from accredited University (master degree is preferred)LanguagesFluent in English is a must.
