Your role will be crucial in supporting our business units, ensuring optimal contractual engagements, leading comprehensive tender processes, and enhancing transparency in vendor spend, contract management, and compliance.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and reduce costs
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and corporate standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement processes.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Incorporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) considerations into procurement decisions and practices.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and subcontractors, developing strong relationships with vendors. Negotiating commercially compelling terms and rates.
  • Create a regional located Preferred Supplier List with clear capabilities, rate cards and key contacts.

For this role, we believe your starting point is: * Strategic commercial procurement professional combined with the experience to promote the agenda and drive the procurement transformation program within Ramboll IN.
  • A deep understanding of key public sector frameworks, the private sector, and procurement policies.
  • A solid background in procurement, sustainability, compliance, and change management.
  • The experience and ability to manage stakeholders at senior levels within an international organisation.
  • Results-oriented and an excellent communicator who can establish strong, lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and with the ability to negotiate and influence others to meet a wide range of business objectives and needs to be confident in presenting up to board level.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, highly organised, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 4-5 years of Procurement experience negotiating contracts and leading teams.
