: Casting Operator - Cast House

Position: Casting Operator
Location: Jharsuguda, Odisha

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor casting machines and equipment in the Cast House.
• Ensure smooth and efficient casting operations, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of casting machinery.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for casting processes.
• Handle molten metal with utmost care, ensuring safety protocols are strictly observed.
• Record and maintain data related to production, quality, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following criteria:

• Matriculation (10th Pass): Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Casting Operator in a Cast House.
• ITI in Foundryman: Freshers or candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma in Metallurgy: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills and Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of casting processes and equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in metal handling.
• Ability to identify and resolve basic equipment issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a high-temperature environment.

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
