Job Your role Are you keenly aware of the importance of an effective control framework Do you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment We\'re looking for someone like that to: - be part of our Client Asset Protection team in Hyderabad - be responsible for a suite of controls aimed at ensuring ongoing compliance with the FCA\'s CASS sourcebook - work with stakeholders across the firm to ensure front-to-back CASS processes are achieving their objectives - be responsible for running periodic reporting - be responsible for feeding governance material into CASS oversight meetings - take responsibility for appropriate escalation and coordinate resolutions with relevant parties - collaborate effectively with partner functions to enhance processes and eliminate recurring issues / exceptions Join us At UBS, we embrace flexible ways of working when the role permits. Your team You\'ll be working in the Client Asset Protection (NMI) team in Hyderabad, which is a team within Investment Bank operations. We are a control function that owns a suite of Client Asset Protection controls and processes which are primarily focused on maintaining documentation and records to ensure the firm is CASS compliant. Part of a wider CASS Oversight team, the role is crucial to successfully maintaining adequate protection for our clients\' assets. Your expertise You have: - a good understanding of financial markets, products and processes - some familiarity and knowledge of Client Asset Protection - a clear communication style - the ability to identify root causes of issues and drive/ implement changes as required - an awareness of when to escalate - a pragmatic \'can do\' attitude - an innovative approach to solving day-to-day process problems - previous experience in automation, using tools such as Alteryx
