Casino Cage Cashier Responsibilities
• Process Cash Transactions: Handle cash exchanges and accurately count and verify the funds received from customers, including chips, tickets, and vouchers.
• Maintain Cash Drawer: Safeguard and balance the cash drawer throughout the shift, ensuring accuracy in calculations and recording transactions.
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Assist guests with cash transactions, answer inquiries, and address any concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
• Redeem Player Rewards: Facilitate the redemption of player rewards points for cash or other forms of payment.
Required Skills
• Excellent Math Skills: Possess strong mathematical abilities to accurately count and handle cash transactions, perform calculations, and balance cash drawers.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist and interact with guests.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in cash counting, transaction recording, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in cash handling, preferably in a casino or financial institution.
• Knowledge of casino gaming regulations and anti-money laundering protocols is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications as required by regulatory agencies.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as the casino operates 24/7.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Must pass a thorough background check and may be subject to drug testing.
