CP- Chai Prantha is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier/Customer Service professional to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions, managing customer inquiries, and providing excellent service to all guests.Responsibilities:
Transaction Management: Efficiently process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
Customer Service: Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
Order Accuracy: Take customer orders accurately and ensure that they are entered into the system correctly.
Resolve Issues: Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, escalating to management if necessary.
Cash Handling: Handle cash and transactions responsibly, including opening and closing cash drawers and reconciling daily sales.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier area and surrounding space clean and organized.
Cross-Functional Support: Assist other team members during busy times, including supporting food service, seating guests, and preparing takeout orders.
Adhere to Policies: Follow all restaurant policies, including health and safety regulations.
Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset.
Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
