Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their purchases, offering information on jewellery products, sales, and promotions.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all payments are correctly recorded (cash, credit cards, etc.).
• Maintain knowledge of the store's products, promotions, and policies to assist customers effectively.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in a professional and timely manner.
• Balance the cash register and prepare deposits at the end of the shift.
• Ensure a clean and organized checkout area and assist with store maintenance as needed.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock organization.
• Address customer concerns and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Uphold the store's customer service standards and brand image.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cashier, retail associate, or in a customer service role, preferably in a jewellery or luxury goods environment.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• A passion for jewellery and fashion is a plus!
