Role Overview:

Zaatar Restaurant is seeking a courteous and reliable Cashier to handle all transactions efficiently and provide exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth cash operations, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a delightful dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
• Process cash, card, and other payment methods accurately and efficiently.
• Issue receipts and handle refunds or exchanges as per company policy.
• Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift.
• Ensure cash drawer accuracy and promptly report discrepancies to the manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter.
• Collaborate with the serving and kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide information about the menu, promotions, and discounts when required.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills (experience with POS systems is a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
• High level of integrity and reliability.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
