The overall objective is to manage the daily operations for a larger Cash and Trade Operations unit, consisting of multiple teams performing related tasks.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations for multiple teams and several unit supervisors and ensure teams meet performance and quality expectationsManage staff resource allocation while assisting with the development and oversight of the budgetResolve complex and highly variable issues with significant departmental impactEvaluate performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actionsEnsure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining workflow standardsContribute to the objectives of the entire Transaction Services functionAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.As a successful candidate, you would ideally have the following skills and exposure:Bachelor's/University degree, Masterxe2x80x99s degree preferred12+ years of experience in a related senior level role with experience in trade / cash operations and managementCandidate must have in-depth working and hands on knowledge in Interchange Settlement & Reconciliation functionGood understanding of Commercial Cards life cycleMust have excellent Accounting knowledge & good Analytical skillsMust have good understanding of various Association Reports & Product Processor ReportsAccounting knowledge on Fees and Revenue received from AssociationsQuickly analyze Reconciliation Exceptions and work towards resolutions and preventive measuresAbility to work across different time zone as this is a Global roleProven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performanceEffective verbal and written communication and analytical skillsThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
