Job Summary:

A Furniture Carpenter specializes in designing, building, and repairing wooden furniture pieces. They work with various materials and techniques to create high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing furniture items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning: Collaborate with clients or designers to create custom furniture pieces based on specifications and preferences.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret design blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions and material requirements.
• Material Selection: Select appropriate materials, such as hardwoods, softwoods, and engineered wood, based on project requirements.
• Construction: Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to build furniture pieces like tables, chairs, cabinets, and shelves.
• Assembly: Assemble furniture components, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and finish.
• Finishing Touches: Apply finishes, such as stains, paints, or varnishes, to enhance appearance and protect surfaces.
• Repair and Restoration: Restore or repair existing furniture, including refinishing and structural repairs.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Customer Service: Communicate with clients regarding project progress, timelines, and any adjustments needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
