Profile: Labour Compliances & HR Policy SpecialistThe HR Policy is an offering that makes labour laws really simple to understand and implement for our customers. Statutory compliances are customised to their business needs and made simple. It also provides customers with a big repository of HR Policies. For every kind of company. from startup to large; written so they can just plug and playWe are looking to bring on board a specialist who has a sound knowledge of Indian labour laws in terms of interpretation and application. You will be the go to person for our clients for any queries that they have!A day in the life of:Here are a few things that will occupy you:- Scanning the environment for amendments to labour laws and new HR policy initiatives of companies globally- Scripting and updating statutory compliance documents and policies- Developing content for customer newsletters, website and social media communication- Advising customers when they have queries with respect to any laws or policies- Engaging with external experts empanelled by The HR Policy- Suggesting improvements to our products and solutionsThe Ideal fit:This role is for you if -- You have completed an MBA in HR/ Industrial Relations or graduated in Law and have 3-8 years of work experience in the area of Labour Laws/ Statutory Compliances- You understand not only how to interpret law but also compliances that companies need to adhere to; in other words you bring a practical perspective- If you have experience in crafting HR Policies, that will be a bonus- If would be preferable if you have worked in both a company that is covered under the Factories Act as well as one that is covered by the Shops & Establishments Act- Are willing to be based out of BangaloreWhat we are looking for:- A self starter who can operate in an startup environment- Has the mental capacity to interpret complex law- Someone who is curious and research-oriented- Someone who prides oneself in delivering work of very high standards- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The HR Policy is backed by Carpediem (www.carpediem.in):Carpediem, since its inception 20 years ago, has built a consulting powerhouse in Strategic HR, Employer Branding, Brand Management & Experience Design.
