Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Career Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist students and professionals in identifying and achieving their career goals. You will provide guidance on career development, education paths, job market trends, and employment opportunities. Your role will be crucial in helping individuals make informed decisions about their career choices, further education, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one career counseling sessions to help individuals identify career goals and develop action plans.
• Assist clients in choosing educational and training programs that align with their career aspirations.
• Offer advice on resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Stay updated on labor market trends, career opportunities, and changes in educational requirements.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' skills, interests, and personality traits to guide career decisions.
• Organize workshops and seminars on career planning, skill development, and employability.
• Collaborate with educational institutions, employers, and community organizations to create networking opportunities for clients.
• Maintain detailed client records and follow up on career progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master's degree in Career Counseling or a relevant discipline is a plus.
• Proven experience as a career counselor, academic advisor, or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Familiarity with career assessment tools and online career resources.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in job markets and educational opportunities.
• Certification in career counseling (preferred but not mandatory).
