As a Career Counselor specializing in the AVGC industry, you will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals towards successful careers in animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics. You will provide expert advice, mentorship, and resources to help aspiring professionals navigate the complexities of the AVGC sector and achieve their career goals.

•Responsibilities: •

• Provide personalized career counseling sessions to individuals interested in pursuing careers in the AVGC industry.
• Stay updated on trends, advancements, and opportunities within the AVGC industry. Provide insights into various career paths, specializations, and job roles available.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate educational programs, courses, and certifications relevant to their career goals. Advise on reputable institutions, curriculum, and training options.
• Offer guidance on creating and enhancing portfolios tailored to specific roles within the AVGC industry. Provide feedback on artwork, demo reels, game projects, and comic samples.
• Assist clients in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing, cover letter customization, and interview preparation.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop long-term career plans, set achievable goals, and create action plans to progress towards their objectives.

•Qualifications: •

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of the AVGC industry, including animation techniques, visual effects software, game development processes, and comic book publishing.
• Previous experience in career counseling, coaching, or advising role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to empathize with clients and understand their unique career needs.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and providing actionable feedback.
• Familiarity with educational institutions, training programs, and industry networks within the AVGC sector.
• Passion for helping others succeed in their careers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,354.58 - ?34,970.49 per month
