Cardiovascular Technician
Job Description
Diagnostic Testing and Imaging
• Electrocardiographic Monitoring : Operate EKG/ECG machines, conduct stress tests, and set up Holter monitors for continuous heart activity tracking.
• Heart and Vascular Imaging : Perform echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds) and vascular ultrasounds to assess blood flow and identify blockages.
• Invasive Cardiology Assistance
• Procedure Support : Aid in cardiac catheterization labs for angioplasties, stent placements, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies.
Patient Care
• Educate patients about procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and provide emergency response during procedures.
Equipment Maintenance and Record-Keeping
• Calibration : Regularly calibrate and maintain diagnostic tools.
• Documentation : Record and analyze results for physician review and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
• Preparation : Set up patients and equipment for invasive cardiac procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From ?15,000.00 per month
