Job Title: Kerala Chef
We are seeking a talented and passionate Kerala Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional Kerala cuisine and a passion for creating authentic and flavorful dishes.
Responsibilities:
• Menu Development: Develop and maintain an extensive menu featuring a wide variety of traditional Kerala dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
• Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation of all Kerala dishes, ensuring adherence to authentic recipes and high-quality standards.
• Kitchen Management: Manage the kitchen operations, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the kitchen staff, providing training and development opportunities.
• Quality Control: Ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
• Cost Control: Monitor food costs and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
• Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Kerala Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
• Deep knowledge of traditional Kerala cuisine, including ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavors.
• Excellent culinary skills and ability to create delicious and visually appealing dishes.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
