Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and professional Restaurant Captain to join our team at Oryx Village. The ideal candidate will take charge of ensuring high-quality service, maintaining operational standards, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the dining area to maintain service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with restaurant standards, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor service staff, ensuring their adherence to operational protocols.
• Manage table reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide leadership during busy service hours, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or similar role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred candidates from Kerala with fluency in Malayalam and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service.
