Responsibilities:
• Guest Service:
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Ensure that guests receive prompt and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff and other dining room personnel.
• Train new staff members on service standards and restaurant policies.
• Foster a positive team environment and encourage collaboration among staff.
• Operations Management:
• Oversee the dining room setup and ensure it meets the restaurant's standards.
• Monitor the flow of service and adjust staffing as needed to maintain efficiency.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as necessary.
• Communication:
• Liaise between the kitchen and dining room to ensure timely service.
• Communicate daily specials and menu changes to staff and guests.
• Maintain clear communication with management regarding any issues or feedback from guests.
• Sales and Upselling:
• Promote menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
