Focused on Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care and Pet Nutrition, we sell our products in more than 200 countries and territories under brands such as Colgate, Palmolive, elmex, hello, meridol, Sorriso, Tom\'s of Maine, EltaMD, Filorga, Irish Spring, PCA SKIN, Protex, Sanex, Softsoap, Speed Stick, Ajax, Axion, Fabuloso, Soupline and Suavitel, as well as Hill\'s Pet Nutrition.We are recognized for our leadership and innovation in promoting sustainability and community wellbeing, including our achievements in decreasing plastic waste and promoting recyclability, saving water, conserving natural resources and improving children\'s oral health.If you want to work for a company that lives by their values, then give your career a reason to smile and join our global team!Job Summary (purpose)The candidate is responsible for design, development and implementation of various applications in the area of large scale worldwide Colgate e-Commerce Operation and provides support.The person will be required to collaborate with business teams / functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.The person should have the ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.Main ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and apply information technology standards to daily support and project implementation activitiesManage and/or perform the design, build and testing of business applications and its architecture in line with agreed time frames, business requirements and global standardsDevelop consumer grade eCommerce applications that scale in a global environmentApply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to provide solutions and solve high complexity issuesWork closely with internal team and external partners to ensure new developments align with roadmap and integrate seamlessly with other platform componentsManage application rollouts, system upgrades, apply user experience techniquesMaintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and governance processesSupport day to day business requirements according to global SLADeliver solutions to solve business requirements considering priorities and resources availabilityEnsure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to comply of information technology governance practicesCollaborate with business and functional teams, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of projectEnsure proper documentation of processes, knowledge acquisitions and transfersReview program codes and suggest correction in case of any errorsConduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processesIdentify and explore new opportunities to leverage new technologies to enhance the PlatformMentor and share knowledge to grow and develop the skills of the eCommerce team membersRequired Qualifications:(Education,Knowledge required,Skills (language & other)etc)Min 1 year of experience on hybris Commerce CloudFoundational knowledge in Spring Java, JavaScriptKnowledge in integrating with SAP ERPKnowledge on REST API or SOAP - Headless approachGood technical architecture knowledgeKnowledge on Cloud Applications (AWS, Google, Azure)Sound knowledge on Code security, code optimization and version controlling tools Git/SvnKnowledge of unit test and testing driven developmentBasic understanding of code deployment, branching strategyStrong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills, and the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs into technical specificationsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of hybris architectureWorking on Agile/SCRUM development teamsKnowledge on building websites using headless commerce approach (integration with Spartacus)Knowledge in working with payment gateways like Stripe, Paymetric, Adyen, Moneris, etc.Knowledge on Microservices, Serverless functionsKnowledge of using user-centric design and applying User Experience conceptsFamiliarity with data privacy concepts (GDPR, PCI, HIPAA), cyber security, cookie policyOur Commitment to Sustainability
