GREAT STEP - Geo Resource Engineering And Technology Students Teachers and Employers Partnership, an annual technical summit of the department of mining engineering. At GREAT STEP, we wish to channel the immense talent and ingenuity of the students to challenging problems, build a coherent and strong rapport between employers and students and provide a platform for the students to help them become future stalwarts in the realm of geo-science and engineering. About the Program

The campus ambassador\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Become the representative of Great Step in your college and serve as a link between the students there and Great Step
2. Guide the prospective participants and clarify their queries, if any
3. Assist the organizing team with individual projects and special events, e.g. offline quizzes for better publicity within your campus
4. Conduct workshops in association with the respective department to increase the level of awareness about Great Step
5. Plan and try out creative marketing and PR techniques to increase student engagement

Learning opportunities

1. Opportunity to attend events and paid workshops in IIT Kharagpur free of cost
2. Free courses/coupons and internship opportunities for skill growth of the CAs
3. Career assistance programs like resume making, UPSC talks, industrial talks, etc.
