Qualification and experience: Bachelor of Communication and Journalism with at least 3 years of work experience in conducting large campaigns among local communities for any species, habitat, rivers etc.

Skills :


1. Development of key indicators (wanted changes) in the society towards the species


2. Development of methodology and tools for conducting pre-campaign assessment


3. Conducting pre-campaign surveys using appropriate tools in the project sites


4. Development of various campaign tools, collaterals, articles, media brief


5. Administer the tools and organise large campaigns in the project sites


6. Writing technical reports on the pre-campaign assessment, and other reports related to the component.

Responsibility:


1. To develop the methodology and tools for a large campaign for the conservation of Golden Langur in Assam, India.


2. To meet the stakeholders including Policymakers, Forest Officials, Subject experts, and local community persons, relevant media persons, community celebrities across the Golden Langur habitats to understand the various threats, and various contributing factors to the threats and then prepare a road map to develop the mass campaign to conserve the species


3. To develop methodology and tools for pre-campaign assessment of the target audience.


4. To develop various campaign tools and collaterals for administering the campaign among the target audience across the golden langur habitat.


5. To write and submit periodical reports, and technical reports as per the allocated time of the campaign plan.


6. Responsible for short articles, media updates, stories, blocks, recording photos, videos and such other documents.
