Job Summary:


The Vice President Marketing Manager is responsible for leading a team of 10-12 direct reports in the campaign execution of credit card portfolio marketing campaigns. The role will be involved across marketing channels including online, direct mail, retail, and on-site alternative media. This position sits within Card marketing execution of Card Services, a key business within Chase's Consumer & Community Banking Group.


In this role you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Campaign Managers that design and execute successful marketing campaigns on behalf of our business partners via multiple marketing channels. You will manage the strategic and executional goals for the card organization related to existing customer marketing. Interact and partner with other teams across Cards and Performance Marketing to drive efficiencies in the executional processes to achieve our key goals around improving cycle time, capacity, cost to serve, and quality. Your focus with each campaign will be to utilize your interpersonal skills to coordinate with operational groups across the partners, and stakeholders of the Card Services teams to ensure that resources are aligned to the top priorities.




Job responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight of multiple campaigns of varying complexity across all delivery channels (email, direct mail, digital) in support of credit card marketing initiatives.
• Partner with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders and business areas to coordinate the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns.
• Own the requirements, timelines, deliverables, and approvals for campaign documentation for your team.
• Work in a regulated industry with an understanding of the risks and controls functions and their impacts on marketing campaign management
• Lead and function effectively in a matrix organization
• Be results-oriented with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Possess strong business and marketing acumen with an ability to identify business opportunities, deliver results, and adjust plans as appropriate
• Demonstrate they are customer-obsessed by understanding the customer experience
• Have a proven ability to operate in a process-oriented environment, adhere to risk/control, procedure and process expectations, while appropriately delivering what's best for the customer
• Have experience managing and developing me large diverse teams

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

• 14+ years marketing execution, project coordination or similar experience
• Led a team of 10-12 campaign managers
• Strong leadership, communication, team facilitation and organizational skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally while motivating, influencing, and leading others
• Possess an understanding of core marketing channels: Digital, Email, Direct Mail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership
• Develops strong partnerships; leads through collaboration; recognized as a team player
• Driven to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results
• Experience in working on credit card marketing execution and creating efficiencies
• Has experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within deadlines
• Understanding of business P&L and marketing's contribution toward business growth
• Working experience in a strong control environment for execution of processes
• Strong working experience in Agile environment and tools
• Proven ability to lead and function effectively in a matrix organization.
• Experience in working with global stakeholders across marketing, technology and campaign managers
• Bachelor's / Master Degree required / Preferred credit card / financial services experience preferred
