Position Overview:
Telugu Capital TV is looking for a skilled and experienced Cameraman & Video Editor to join our team in Hyderabad. This role requires a creative individual with expertise in capturing high-quality footage and editing it into engaging content, with a focus on news, interviews, and features. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and editing, with the ability to operate cameras professionally and use editing software efficiently to produce polished, compelling video content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cameras and related equipment to capture high-quality video footage for various types of content, including interviews, news segments, and on-location shoots.
• Edit footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software to produce professional and polished video content.
• Collaborate with producers, reporters, and other team members to ensure alignment with the project's creative vision and storytelling goals.
• Organize and manage video footage, ensuring efficient workflow and storage.
• Perform color grading, sound syncing, and other post-production tasks to enhance the quality of the final product.
• Adapt videos for multiple platforms, including TV and digital channels, ensuring proper format and resolution standards.
• Troubleshoot and maintain camera and audio equipment to ensure quality output.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a cameraman and video editor, preferably in the media or television industry.
• Proficiency in operating professional cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
• Expertise in video editing software, especially Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Strong storytelling ability and an eye for capturing visuals that enhance the narrative.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and video format optimization.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Telugu language is highly preferred, as it will facilitate communication and content understanding.
• Experience with graphics and animation tools like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media video standards and adapting content for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
