Job Title: Camera Person cum Video Editor

Location: NIMS UNIVERSITY RAJASTHAN, Jaipur

Job Summary

NIMS UNIVERSITY is seeking a skilled and creative Camera Person cum Video Editor to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage of university events, lectures, and promotional content, as well as editing this footage to create engaging and professional videos for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Videography:

- Operate cameras and other video equipment to capture footage of university events, lectures, and activities.

- Ensure proper lighting, sound, and composition during video shoots.

- Collaborate with event organizers and university staff to understand the specific requirements and goals for each video project.

Video Editing:

- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content for use on the university's website, social media channels, and other platforms.

- Add graphics, text, music, and other elements to enhance video content.

- Ensure all videos align with the university's branding and messaging guidelines.

Project Management:

- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.

- Work closely with the Media and Communications team to develop video concepts and storyboards.

- Provide creative input and suggest new ideas for video content to support the university's marketing and communication goals.

Equipment Maintenance:

- Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video production.

Qualifications

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

- Proven experience as a camera person and video editor, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.

- Proficiency in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

- Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and composition.

Skills:

- Excellent attention to detail and a creative eye for visual storytelling.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for event coverage.

- Ability to lift and carry video equipment.
