- Assist in Filming: Work closely with the senior cameraman and production team to assist in the filming of various projects, ensuring high-quality footage is captured.
- Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Assist in setting up and maintaining camera equipment, lighting, and audio gear before, during, and after shoots.
- Footage Organization: Help organize and manage video files, ensuring proper labelling, storage, and backup procedures are followed to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Storyboard Understanding: Familiarize yourself with project storyboards and shot lists, and assist in translating creative concepts into visually compelling shots.
- Assist in Editing: Gain exposure to the post-production process by assisting in video editing tasks, including but not limited to sorting footage, basic editing, and adding graphics or effects.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the production team, including directors, producers, and other crew members, to ensure seamless coordination during shoots.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in videography and cinematography.
