Hi, Greetings from Oriental Cuisines Pvt Ltd, We are one of the leading Retail Bakery unit in chennai , and Outlet located in various area in chennai and Major Metro cites in India Currently we are looking F& B Executive,Shift Manager,Bakery Manager for Our Chennai French Loaf A Bakery cum Cafe Manager oversees the daily operations of a combined bakery and cafe, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality baked goods and the provision of excellent customer service in the cafe. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, adhering to food safety regulations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Key Responsibilities: Staff Management:Recruit, train, and supervise bakery and cafe staff, including bakers, baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel.
Schedule shifts, manage payroll, and ensure proper staffing levels for both the bakery and cafe. Product Quality and Production:Oversee the baking and preparation processes to ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of baked goods and cafe offerings.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bakery teams to develop and update menus. Customer Service:Ensure excellent customer service by setting and maintaining high service standards in the cafe.
Train staff in customer service skills and monitor their performance.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any concerns in a professional manner. Inventory and Supply Management:Manage inventory for both the bakery and cafe, including ingredients, packaging materials, and cafe supplies.
Place orders with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and monitor deliveries.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and control costs. Menu Development and Special Orders:Collaborate with bakers and chefs to develop new bakery items and cafe offerings.
Manage special orders for cakes, pastries, and other bakery items. Marketing and Promotion:Work with the marketing team to create and implement marketing strategies for both the bakery and cafe.
Participate in promotional events and collaborations to attract customers. Maintenance and Cleanliness:Maintain the cleanliness and organization of both the bakery and cafe areas.
Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs as needed. Reporting:Provide regular reports to senior management on key performance metrics, financial results, and customer feedback for both the bakery and cafe. Qualifications:
