:Should Costing Engineer

• Work Location : Pune
• Experience : 6 - 11 Years of Experience

Education: Bachelors / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering * Thorough Knowledge on different manufacturing processes (Castings, Forging, Sheetmetal, Plastics)

• Good Knowledge of manufacturing process sequence and select the most cost-effective approach.
• Thorough Knowledge of HPDC, LPDC, GDC, etc..,), Machining (Milling, drilling, turning,), Forging (Hot and Cold, Roller, etc..,), Welding, Molding
• Understanding of Tooling cost calculations
• Mandatory experience in Costing tools like : Costimator/ aPriori or any other costing tool
• Fair working understanding of CAD Tools: CATIA V5, NX, Creo, SolidWorks & Team Center, SAP
• Should have good knowledge on MS Office Tools (MS Excel, MS Presentation)
• Automotive experience is highly preferred. Experience of working in Axles / Driveshafts / Transmission / Engine 5Cs will be a plus.
• Should be able to respond to the queries from external / internal Stakeholders.
• Should have working experience in dealing with the costs from the following countries.

• India, Mexico, China, USA, Europe, Taiwan

What the candidate will do * Will be a part of Program Cost Team responsible in bringing in proficiency in process time calculation for various manufacturing processes.

• should use Should cost data to help the Purchase team to analyze the cost breakup from vendor and perform detailed gap analysis between to be cost and quote received
• He/She should use Should cost data to help the design engineering team to adopt the design to cost approach.
• Propose Best cost country depending on the commodity.
• Suggest and help the buyers to make the vendors understand the alternative manufacturing processes.
• For Senior Role: Should have led the team of cost engineers and frontend the discussions with different stakeholders.
• Prepare Cost effective proposal/s and lead the discussions/presentations at Senior Management Level

Additional requirements from the candidature * Should be willing to work from Office / Client Location

• Should have worked in an Onsite ? Offshore working mode.
• Should have working experience with Indian OEMs / Tiers Suppliers
• Should be willing to work in shifts,
• Should have excellent Verbal / Written Communication skills.
• Should have experience interacting with international clients.
