Job Description
CAD designers use computers to generate sketches of complex undertakings. Using these designs can help establish timelines, budgets, and assist many different departments in making vital decisions about major projects. Billing Engineers must have knowledge of estimation and cost, BBS (Bar Bending Schedule), Rate analysis as per as DAR and market rate, Labour and machinery analysis, which enables them to the billing works at a different stage of construction with efficiency and accuracy. CAD Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
- Implementation of CAD functionality and applications
- Produce designs that meet requirements and targets
- Check products for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation, and timing.
- Maintain compliance with company guidelines, safety, and quality procedures.
- Update and maintain product design files.
- Assist in improving daily processes to ensure that the CAD systems meet customer requirements.
- Work through software limitations and deploy solutions in the design and development of CAD models.
- Responsible for the study of BOQ (Bill of Quantity) as per specifications and taking out quantities from drawings.
- Preparation and Certification of RA bills.
- Identification and preparation of extra items.
- Preparation of monthly reconciliation statement of building material.
- Arithmetic & technical checking of all bills i.e. Civil, Carpentry, Aluminum Windows, Finishing, Interior bills, Infrastructure, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical work, consultants, & material Invoices, etc.
- Site Visits: ? Random Physical checking of bills at site case to case.
- Material Reconciliation: ? To check theoretical consumption of steel, cement & other material supplied free of cost to the contractor and make recovery in case of excess Consumption & wastage.
