We are currently looking for a CAD DRAFTER to support engineering projects by utilizing skills in AutoCAD as well as the ability to draft in Isometric planes. Accountable for:

• •Demonstrating Productivity: • Maintaining quality and efficiency on various project tasks as defined by common internal reporting metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• •Contributing to Team through Communication and Work Ethic: • Maintaining professional, positive relationships and effectively communicating with team members and other company personnel

Job Responsibilities:

• Executes drafting work in AutoCAD to meet high quality standards and efficiency metrics
• Maintains professional, positive relationships with team members
• Effectively utilizes entire workday, completing assigned tasks and seeks out additional ways to contribute
• Perform drawing maintenance including updates, revisions, and development of as-built record documents

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience using AutoCAD 2020 or newer to prepare technical drawings
• Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design and /or 3-5 years experience in process facilities
• Ability to draft in Isometric planes while visualizing piping and pressure vessels
• Experience using LISP routines to place blocks and modify block attribute data
• Requires knowledge and ability to work with MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to recreate isometrics and pressure vessels from as-built, construction drawings, field sketches, and 3D scan data
• Knowledge of drafting standards for piping systems and the components associated with oil, gas, or mechanical environments
• Use of basic Windows operations and file management
• General understanding and ability to read P&IDs
• Refinery or piping experience
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent interpersonal, professional, and technical communication skills while working in a team atmosphere
