Our R&D center in Pune is crucial to our growth and innovation strategy, and our distribution subsidiaries in the APAC region are key to our market expansion.Location: Pune, IndiaPosition Overview:The CAD/CAM QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our CAD/CAM software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD/CAM systems, manual and automated testing, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves creating and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software.:Key Responsibilities:Test Planning and Execution:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for CAD/CAM software applications.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality and adherence to requirements.
• Perform manual testing of CAD/CAM software features and functionalities to identify defects and ensure correct implementation.

Automation Testing:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for CAD/CAM applications to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Utilize automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Cucumber) to automate repetitive and complex test scenarios.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to the development team for continuous improvement.

Defect Management:

• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing to ensure that issues are resolved without introducing new problems.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Communicate test progress, results, and issues effectively to stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and other meetings to contribute to the development process and quality assurance strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in CAD/CAM technology, QA methodologies, and automation tools.
• Propose and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall software quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for quality assurance within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong background in CAD/CAM systems and software testing.
• Technical Skills:

• Experience with CAD/CAM software applications and systems (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Cucumber) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate test results and issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
